Josh is that terrific and rare combination of professional and personable, and even more rare – he really listens. He immediately put me at ease with a very laid-back energy, but he was also prepped and ready to rock with a list of neighborhoods and properties that might fit my requirements. Nothing about the day felt unprepared, he was extremely organized and had obviously put in a lot of legwork prior to our meeting. And then, he was also open if a spontaneous idea occurred to him during the course of our conversations.
Another thing I really appreciated was Josh’s in depth knowledge of each neighborhood and the greater Austin community; not only the current events, but a historical snapshot as well. Instead of just driving straight to each property to view it, he took the time to drive me around the ‘hood a bit, showing me various features of the area that were in line with what I had described to him in our initial conversations about what I wanted. For someone totally new to the area, this was such a gift and incredibly helpful.
His earnest desire to help me find a good fit was evident in all of his attention to details, for instance: because he knew that I am a boxer, he called me after we had said goodbye to let me know about a boxing gym in a neighborhood that I had liked. He spent his whole day viewing properties with me, which allowed me to take the time I needed to weigh the options. I never felt that he was trying to rush me through, or influence my decision-making, which was so crucial for me, since I am person who really needs to have a living space that feels like home, and that is sometimes a difficult thing to find.
